Renovating must start with one basic thing, the love of history. You may love beautiful old columns, floors, fireplaces, tin ceilings or architecture that can not be replaced, but all of it relates back to history.

In this hotel's case it's history was incredible...

But over the years it deteriorated. So much so that on second floor, many people would not even enter the rooms. They were slummy. The pictures I have attached were after many truckloads of garbage had been removed. Enjoy the transformations.
