Recently a concept for the old Meridian Bridge was conceived by an archectural firm hired by the City of Yankton. Although these are preliminary, one can see the huge possibilities for growth and tourism in the Riverfront District. These plans include a canal that will sway from side to side up Walnut Street to 3rd with many water features.
